Watercolor workshop with Margo Kulesha
I´m so excited to host Ukrainian artist Margo Kulesha for her upcoming 5 week watercolour workshop! This will be a beginner´s foundational course exploring the basics of working with this luminous medium, including discovering techniques for playing with colour, layering and shading.
5 Thursdays 11-1pm starting Nov 19 (nov 19, 26, dec 3, 10, and 17)
220 euro with your own watercolor paint (we supply watercolor paper and brushes)
35 euro additionally for artist´s grade watercolor set purchased by the artist for class
Little altars everywhere- A drop in workshop
Just in time for the Mexican day of the dead, I´ll host a small drop in workshop close to my heart. It´s been on my mind for some time to organise a creative workshop surrounding the creation of a small personal ¨oferta¨ or altar to honor the people we love or admire that have passed on to the other side. I´ll guide you through making your own ofera with a few examples and a lot of studio ephemra on hand to make it great. Particpants should bring along a picture or a token of the person to create with. If you´d like to be included, I´ll be making a collective ¨oftera¨ window at the studio for the Boitsfort neighbourhood.

A communal painting workshop
Some evenings are meant to be lingered over..
The Blooming Table is a gathering for adults who want to slow down, make something beautiful and share a table with good people. Together we´ll paint-playfully, without pressure- on a shared canvas inspired by the natural world. At the end of the evening the work is divided and each person leaves with their own piece of something made together. No experience needed, no perfect outcome expected. Just color, company and some time to bloom.

The Painters’ Table- A communal painting experience, with floral arrangement workshop
In my previous life before I was an art teacher, I was a florist. I´m always yearning to play with flowers again and this hybrid class of flower arranging and communal drawing lets me do that! This workshop weaves 2 sensory experiences into one afternoon; you´ll build a colorful bouquet with seasonal flowers sourced from the local market and then I will guide you through capturing it in paint. You´ll create first from your own perspective, then as part of a larger communal work that grows across the table as the session unfolds. Each person leaves with their own autumn bouquet and painting. All supplies and light refreshment included.
