Introduction to Acrylic Painting

Join me for “A Moveable Feast: a playful exploration in the sensuous tradition of still life painting.” You’ll learn how to create your own unique composition and we´ll delve into the basic acrylic painting techniques of color mixing, glazing and more. Learn more about this rich tradition and how to express your personality through your composition. Absolutely no previous experience with acrylic required.

Want to nurture your creativity but unsure which medium is best for you? In this dynamic introduction to art basics we will devote a few classes each to collage, oil pastel, acrylic, ink, basic print making and drawing. All the fun of discovery without the commitment! Extremely relaxed, small and welcoming groups.

How it works:
It ´s possible to join a class or workshop any time if there is space. Our adult classes are small groups of 10 people or less, and allow ample time for individual instruction. Classes are informal, fun and open to the individual needs and interests of the students. Our classes run throughout the year except on Belgian holidays.
Cost: If the cost is not listed in the description above, adult classes are 250 euro for a block of 10 classes. Adult classes are usually 2hrs and all materials are included. You don´t need to bring anything to class but its best to wear clothes you don’t mind getting a bit dirty. Payment can be made in cash or via bank transfer. If you need to attend on a drop-in basis, we can accomodate, but 24hr notice of attendance is mandatory.
Attendance: If you cannot attend, please let us know as soon as possible. You do have the option of giving someone else your place that day if you can’t make it. If you know in advance you will have an appointment, it´s not a problem, please just let us know. If cancellations are made without 24hr notice, you will be charged for the class. As we are an independent studio with small class sizes we cannot issue refunds. Thank you for your understanding.
